We welcome all legitimate hunter & jumper types that would be suitable for a buyer that intends to show competitively, at any level.

  • Without exception, all sale horses must have appropriate video & at least one quality photo.
  • Sale Barn Listings must have, at a minimum, one high-quality image at least 1200px wide.

For best results, submit at least one high quality image a minimum of 800px wide for each sale horse.

The Activation Fee is charged once your listing has been built by us, approved by you, and is ready to launch on hunterjumper.exchange. It covers our work in building your listing, and includes educated curation, professional media editing, a thorough show record review with transcription of notable highlights, lineage research, any advising or strategizing the client desires, and whatever else we can do to put your sale horse's best hoof forward.

Activation Fees do not apply to horses loaded to Sale Barn Listings.

Monthly Subscription Fees for both Sale Horse & Sale Barn Listings include any needed updates to your ads & are required to keep your listing live on our website.

Monthly fees are processed automatically on the 5th of each month until we are notified of cancellation.

Charges will include any listing that is live on our website on the 1st of that month.

While we do not offer a discount on Activation Fees for multiple horses, non-sale-barn clients with 3+ Sale Horse Listings do enjoy a small break on our monthly subscription fees:

  • 1-2 Horses: $35/horse/month
  • 3-4 Horses: $30/horse/month
  • 5+ Horses: $25/horse/month

If you typically sell 5+ horses a year we recommend an HJx Sale Barn Listing.

After a thorough review of your horse & evaluation of its target market, we'll craft a description that highlights their selling points & speaks to their most likely buyer. This core HJx service, a flagship of our offerings since 2005 and highly valued by busy & tongue-tied sellers alike, is now offered as an Add-On to decreased Activation Fees & Sale Barn prices.

If you decline the Professional Copywriting Add-On your ad text will appear exactly as entered in the Horse Description field of the HJx Equine Fact Sheet.

Nope! We're happy to host horses from anywhere in the world. If your country isn't already included in our Search Locations we can easily add it.

The onboarding for a new Sale Barn Listing, with all of its Sale Horses, is hefty & recouped in the 3-month commitment. It also allows time for new Sale Barn Listings to gain traffic & spread organically, as well as time for sellers to experiment with different pricing or media strategies if response is lower than expected.

When it comes to marketing, we recommend a long-term mindset & evaluating success by quarterly efforts.

Ads do not launch automatically upon submission.

Each new HJx Listing goes through an approval process + custom build so time-to-launch varies according to number of listings in our queue. Once ad is approved & production begins, builds are usually completed within 2-4 business days for Sale Horse Listings & 7-10 business days for Sale Barn Listings.

We do not review & approve listings until both photos & video have been received.

Approved listings are put into production on a First Come/First Serve basis.

Yes! You'll be sent a private link to review the new Sale Barn or Sale Horse Listing & request any changes. No listing goes live without full review & approval from the seller or their agent.

This is usually due to a lack of media quality and rarely has anything to do with the animal. Any horse suitable for any level of the hunter/jumper show ring is welcome to market with us, but video must be clear and useful to buyers and photos must meet a minimum standard. If a listing is declined, submission of new or different media is usually all that's needed for a green light.

We also reserve the right to refuse to work with any particular seller if we believe doing so would jeopardize our own reputation.

We personally handle all updates for clients. This keeps our presentation consistent & our content clean. To send us an update for your horse, including new photos or videos, visit our Client Corner and select "Update Listing".

Yes! Just head over to our update center and notify us to Pause & Save ad. When it's time to relaunch just reach out to Amber with any new details &/or media. All ads will be updated as needed before re-launch.

There is no re-stocking fee for listings re-launched within 90 days.

Listings re-activated after 90 days will be charged a re-stocking fee of $65.

After 9 months, returning listings will be charged a re-stocking fee of $125.

When your horse has sold, leased, come off market, or you simply don't need the ad anymore, just let us know and we'll close the page & remove the client from the following month's billing. You can notify us via email or by submitting a Listing Update in our Client Corner

Notify us of cancelation before the 1st of the month to be removed from that month's charges.

No refunds are issued for ads canceled mid-month.

Sale Barn Listings must complete their 3-month-minimum agreement before canceling.

All subscription fees will continue to be processed monthly until we are notified of cancellation.
