Which is a sure sign that I've been hunkered down in the coding cave and changes are afoot. Big ones. So many, in fact, they’ll require a full blog series to unpack. But that's for another day.

Instead! Let's get right to the fun stuff... new listing prices!

That's right, in the age of shrinkflation and ever-increasing prices, we're lowering our rates.

As part of the first wave of subscription-based pricing waaaaaay back in 2005, we're flattered to see how many companies followed suit. Truly. Once upon a time I had 5 recurring bills and my printer didn't know what a credit card was. Now it pesters me for an ink subscription and dozens of automated payments fly, sight unseen, out of my account monthly.

What a monster this has become. Our apologies. 

You might think I'd follow that up by announcing we’re abandoning the subscription model altogether but alas, we are not.

The genius of subscription pricing (distributing steep upfront costs into manageable monthly investments) is still sound. What we do here requires time, professional expertise, and yes… a litany of subscription-based tools and services. But we have refactored things to make our listings more accessible to everyday equestrians who are ready to invest in themselves.

Our base monthly Sale Barn rate has been cut in half 🎉🎉🎉

And if you're already successfully editing and hosting your sale horse videos on YouTube it's decreased a whopping 72%, to just $49/month.

A one-time Set-Up Fee will now be assessed to build your customized HJx Sale Barn page and all necessary Sale Horse Listings. This allows us to dedicate the appropriate time and expertise upfront while keeping ongoing costs significantly lower.

This price shift isn’t about cutting corners, it’s about lowering barriers and creating opportunity. We want to see small, scrappy businesses invest in themselves, and to see medium-sized programs catch the eye of bigger fish.
