Courageux FE was bred with our personal “ideal jumper” in mind - brave, quick, and modern but with plenty of scope. With performance lineage on both sides paired with our meticulous young horse program, this colt is an excellent prospect for someone looking for a future competitive partner with a strong foundation.

Sire, Candy de Nantuel, jumped to 1.55m himself with Penelope Leveprost. His dam, Thara Nantuel, has produced multiple jumpers at top of sport including Hello Folie, currently ridden by Scott Brash and 2nd this year in the European Championships. Candy adds phenomenal flexibility, a stunning gallop, and good character in his progeny who have caught the eye of many at European auctions and inspections. His offspring are eye catching and careful over fences while still maintaining good character and rideability.

Dam, Chanel, jumped to 1.40m herself and is standout for her bravery to the fences and determinedness and quickness in the ring. Her sire, Cradilo, an Irish Draught stallion, was a GP jumper imported from Ireland. Out of his small American foal crop, he has produced up to 2* eventers and jumpers up to 1.45m.

All foal sales include board through weaning and registration/passport with North American Studbook. Our program is meticulous with our young horse development so buyers should expect to receive a weanling with a strong foundation in leading, tying, loading, farrier work, etc…
