A bit about "Nando"
Nando is fresh off a tremendous year in the Children's Ponies with his latest rider, who moved up to him from a saintly 25 y.o. Small. They were Reserve Champion at Zone 2 Finals, Champion at The League Finals, and Reserve Circuit Champion for 2025 HITS Hudson Valley. They won classics, hacks, and medals, as well as a $1000 Tiny Bit O' 2' Hunter Derby at HITS.
Nando has plenty of confidence to lend and never needs to see the ring or the jumps. He's basically a horse in a pony package, with no pony tricks but more step than most crossbar kids need. He's scopey enough for the division and has been successfully showing the Greens this season, but can easily step back down to the Children's for your student. Offered for sale or lease, Nando is very easy to love and very sadly outgrown.
Nando's Green status was reinstated in 2021. We believe he's eligible for a second Green year next season, and could debut in the Greens at 2027 Pony Finals, but this should be confirmed with USEF.
